This is a decent machine and it does make good coffee. However there’s a few small things that need improvement to make it a 5 star machine. Firstly, the writing on one side of the pot started wearing off in the wash (pictured) within a couple of days and was completely gone in less than 2 weeks. It’s odd because the other side is unaffected. And it’s annoying because the cup levels make it easier to measure the right amount of water for the machine.The other thing that’s a bit annoying is the clock goes out of time reasonably quickly. Probably a few minutes a week which adds up quickly over the weeks if you don’t initially notice.The last thing isn’t an issue but more of a pin enhancement ask. The coffee warmer only stays on for 2 hrs. It would be good if you could set it for longer. Ohhh… the “loud beeping” complaints is just silly. It’s a great feature because you know when the coffee has finished brewing or the heating plate has turned off.Overall it’s a good coffee maker and I would recommend it but just needs those few small things fixed.Edit: After 5 months, there’s absolutely no print left on the pot at all. Plus the strainer mesh separated from the plastic at the base. I ended up having to get a replacement from Amazon.

I like this product (although I don't use the auto features). Easy to use, re-usable coffee filter, quick to fill a pot and the coffee is nice and hot.

This little beast is great! Got it because it was small for my bench space, and there was a timer (drawback of these machines is one waits too long for first cuppa in the morning). Not needed - first cuppa is there in 3-4 minutes - about as long for kettle to boil. Highly recommend. Excellent price too!

I wasn't aware that the Kenmore name (formerly owned by Sears) was still "out there" and being applied to new appliances. When Sears owned it they were very good, so I figured I'd try this coffee maker. (I was retiring a Cuisinart whose clean function was not functioning and whose hot plate had peeled and rusted.)This Kenmore does make very good coffee, and that's the first thing one wants, obviously, in a machine that's supposed to makes coffee!However, how the thing functions and how easy it is to work with is also very important: those are factors to also consider in a coffee maker that a person uses every single day of the year. And this one has what for me at first seemed to be a deal breaker: the carafe lid is permanently attached to the pot. That makes it awkward to handle, it makes it more difficult to clean, and it makes it more difficult to fill the machine with water using the carafe. (I don't want to have to get another container to fill the thing.)I was going to return this and go back to a new model Cusinart, but there were issues with that, too. So I relooked at this Kenmore and found that you CAN detach the pot lid and snap it on again (it takes a little effort, initially). Having discovered that, and figuring it would loosen some and get easier to take off and put on over time, I decided to keep this. I not unhappy that I did. The other issue is that loud alarm. I don't find it as blastingly loud as some people apparently do, but it IS too loud. For me, though, that wasn't a reason to return this machine.

This is the best coffee maker we've bought in ages. The carafe does not drip at all when you pour - a huge plus! I love that it comes with a reusable filter - no more paper filters. It's solidly built and feels like a quality machine when using it. The bottom has rubber feet to prevent it from slipping, which is a little annoying because we have to slide it out from under the counter to fill it every day. This means we have to pick it up instead of slide. But it's not enough of a drawback to dissuade me from recommending it.We loved it so much that, when we thought it broke after 3 months we ordered the same exact one thinking we must have gotten a lemon... only to find out that once we got the new one all set up, it was our outlet that was broken, not the machine. So now we have two of them and don't regret the extra purchase at all.
